Observed: Proper actions are missing on the web page. You need to notify the users about their efforts.

Desirable: Concise text should be there to hit the bull’s eye, i.e., tell the users which action has to after a particular stage.

Desirable: Buttons with proper description are beneficial in this case. For example instead of using ‘Continue’ you can use ‘Moving to the Next Section’ or ‘Want to Quit’ and so on.
