The Client had several pain points regarding the management, accessibility, and searchability of the marketing materials used by sales teams to close deals.
The marketing materials were not centrally located and had a disorganized format for uploading, storage, and access, which confused the sales teams as they could not readily locate the correct content at the right time
The sales teams would have to work with marketing content managed entirely outside of Salesforce, meaning switching between platforms several times, to get things done, thereby disrupting workflow and wasting time.

The custom app in Salesforce was directly integrated into the Client's website. This allowed marketing materials to be viewed and accessed within Salesforce Sales Cloud. For this integration, REST API callouts and OAuth 2.0 authentication were used.
