Project Overview

NEAR Protocol Integration The main intention of CoolX was to let its users store and make transactions with NEAR coins safely via CoolWallet. For that, the eSparkBiz would be developing an SDK (Software Development Kit) that would enable a smooth interface of CoolWallet with the NEAR Protocol. In a very meticulous manner, the eSparkBiz blockchain experts researched and looked into how the CoolWallet integrates into the NEAR blockchain while being on all the details related to such integration.

NEAR Network Documentation Technical documentation and research were the main elements of kick-starting this project. The team basically gave CoolX rich knowledge on the NEAR network, its smart contract architecture, and its processing algorithms on transactions. In fact, these documents brought a basic foundation for SDK development and allowed the two teams to align from day one on the technical aspects about the requirements.

SDK Development Integration Development of the SDK was centered around preparing readymade functions so that it can integrate with NEAR Protocol in as painless and time-saving manner possible. This also meant building a solid API between CoolWallet and NEAR’s blockchain as well as supplying code libraries in both JavaScript and TypeScript. eSparkBiz also created integration tutorials and documentation so that the team at CoolX could evolve their product further so that they could handle integration on their own.

The Problem

CoolX's CoolWallet faced a significant limitation as it did not natively support the NEAR coin. This gap restricted its ability to attract and accommodate users within the growing NEAR ecosystem. As a result, the wallet missed out on tapping into a rapidly expanding community of NEAR enthusiasts and investors, limiting its market reach and potential adoption among users seeking seamless integration and management of their NEAR-based assets. The absence of this support created a competitive disadvantage compared to wallets offering broader compatibility with emerging blockchain protocols.

Complexity in integration

Integrating a type of hardware wallet called CoolWallet into a blockchain network, for example, NEAR requires deep knowledge in understanding the protocols of blockchain, smart contracts, and transactional procedures. The complexity then will be ensuring two-way compatibility between the system and with the other while also having the capability to maintain first-class security standards. Additionally, it involves optimizing the integration for seamless user experience and scalability to accommodate future updates and ecosystem growth.

Transaction Recording and Monitoring

CoolX needed to have an efficient system for recording transactions on the NEAR blockchain and must offer real-time transaction monitoring.

Customized SDK

A customized SDK was developed in-house at eSparkBiz which helped streamline integration between CoolWallet and NEAR Protocol. As a subsequent upgrade, eSparkBiz incorporated a package of pre-build functions, capable of expediting communication from the app with the NEAR blockchain, therefore streamlining processes that will save them additional time and efforts in terms of integration.

Detailed Technical Documentation

eSparkBiz was sure that the integration could be managed and further evolved by CoolX's team efficiently and therefore provided detailed technical documentation. The documentation included architecture of NEAR smart contracts, algorithms of transaction processing and best practices for integration.

Real-time Transaction Monitoring
