The earlier version of the mobile payment app was already old, as some critical features were missing, which ultimately made it noncompetitive to its users in such a highly competitive BFSI industry.
Mobile Payment Solution The client approached eSparkBiz to design and develop an entirely new mobile payment solution for this problem. A new iOS mobile app should be developed with both security and usability for supporting many e-wallet transactions on bill payments, mobile top-ups, money transfers, and every kind of daily financial activity. That means the application was supposed to allow maximum convenience for the user and have an in-app map for finding nearby locations for topping up.

The client’s previous iOS mobile application was outdated and failed to meet market expectations. The client's previous iOS application was far from being aligned with the prevailing market trends and had not been optimized for smartphones that come with modern configurations. The previous version of the application could not handle a high number of transactions. Only features such as checking balance and simple transfer were accessible to the users. With the increased demand for the multifunctional e-wallet services, the client requested a solution that would handle a wide variety of payment options, which included bills payment, mobile top-ups, and peer-to-peer transfers.
Most of them couldn't navigate through previous versions of the app mainly because they were not technology savvy. The design as well as the layout could not be intuitive enough as this resulted in low usage retention levels. There was still no feature to locate nearest top-up points or vendors that offer top-ups.
The absence of location-based features was a major limitation. Its enhancements include location-based services along with map integration, security, including 2FA and biometric login, and payment gateway integration to deliver seamless experience.

This application has more payment features than the previous one.
