The Problem

Some of the problems encountered during the development phase are inefficient communication between the technologists and physicians, old manual workflows, and failure to track equipment and work hours. There were delays in completing and reviewing orders concerning patients and non-adherence to healthcare regulations.

Inefficient Communication

There was a huge communication gap between the technologists in the field and the physicians in healthcare facilities. There was usually a delay in the approval of X-ray orders by technologists, and thus inefficiency in the patient treatment process. The absence of real-time communication resulted in slow response times, affecting the quality of care.

Outdated Manual Workflows

Before the app, technologists and doctors were using paper-based systems and phone calls to track orders as well as patient data.
