The situation before the platform

Why a hotel group needed one connected ecosystem instead of a property management system, a key-card desk and a phone line.

The business

A hospitality group in Greece running hotels and resorts, serving guests alongside the operators, front-of-house staff and vendors who deliver the stay.

The starting point

Hotels ran on disconnected applications and outdated systems that did not talk to each other. Guest experiences felt inconsistent, and behind the scenes the gaps between systems produced confusion, delays and inefficiency.

The trigger

Daily operations still depended on manual coordination between teams, from bookings to guest requests. Staff workload kept rising while response times and service delivery slowed down.

What they wanted

One centralised Progressive Web App ecosystem covering room access, smart room controls, service requests and hotel communication for guests, with centralised dashboards and integrations for operators.

Constraints

The integration framework was planned as its own piece of architecture rather than added per property: a scalable, flexible layer connecting property management systems, BLE smart devices, IoT services and cloud infrastructure so new connections do not mean new plumbing.
