Fourteen Years of Technical Leadership, From Developer to CTO
Chintan Gor built his technical foundation in quantum mechanics and nuclear physics before writing a line of production code, a path that still shapes how he approaches product architecture at eSparkBiz today. He began his engineering career in 2010, migrating a U.S. healthcare platform from MySQL to a multi-tenant MS SQL Server architecture. That experience taught him how reliable products are engineered, not assumed.
Over 14 years at eSparkBiz, Chintan grew from developer to Chief Technology Officer, including leading a workforce planning and management platform built for complex petrochemical production environments. The experience sharpened his focus on scalable, industry-specific product engineering over generic delivery.
Today, as CTO, Chintan leads product architecture, technology strategy, and engineering delivery standards across a CMMI Level 3 organization. He also drives training and mentoring programs that turn junior engineers into senior product-engineering leaders.
"Good architecture doesn't just solve today's problem. It leaves room for what the product needs to become, long before anyone asks for it."
Before moving into architecture leadership, Chintan built his foundation through hands-on software delivery, managing releases, resolving issues with QA teams, and coordinating with distributed teams under real delivery timelines. That experience shaped his practical approach to product and technology decisions.
Today, he drives eSparkBiz’s adoption of cloud-native architectures and AI-assisted development, evaluating new technologies against delivery efficiency, product quality, reliability, and measurable business outcomes.
He's never bought into "move fast and fix it later." To him, product engineering is a running argument between speed and stability, and neither side wins by default. Architecture should follow how a product actually gets used, not how it was first scoped.
