User Onboarding Complexity One of the main challenges was to define and make the process of store owners’ onboarding as smooth as possible. This first critical step helps in creating a positive first impression and in fine-tuning the participant’s experience and interaction with the site. Long and complicated onboarding processes can slow down the process and be frustrating to users, decreasing the success of the platform.

Supplier Integration Challenges The sheer volume of suppliers, each with their own information systems and data structures to interface with, was a major challenge. There may be issues with data exchange and interoperability among the suppliers that are critical for effective collaboration due to the diversity of the suppliers. Thus, we aimed to define a more fluid integration process that would allow integration with different supplier systems.

Ensuring Data Security There is always an utmost need to protect such data as purchase requests and quotes from improper access or leaks. The threat of data breaches calls for a proactive and robust approach to security. To ensure the protection of user data, we adopted the necessary steps as the demand.

Real-Time Communication The store owner and the supplier must have smooth and real-time communication, ever since purchasing the product until acquiring the supplies. This promotes a fast and effective flow of information, thus increasing clarity and speedy responses to various issues and enhancing the dynamism of the e-commerce environment.
